At the heart of the Luton Hoo Estate is the stunning Walled Garden, which is now the setting of a vibrant Volunteer Project, Luton Hoo Estate continues to view itself primarily as a forward thinking modern agricultural farm that balances contemporary and often cutting-edge techniques with historical precedence as we strive towards a greener and environmentally conscious future.
Here at the Walled Garden Project we run a thriving volunteer project which gathers every Wednesday and/or Friday throughout the year. Although we hold the Walled Garden at our heart and so gardeners are always welcome here, we also have a Conversation Team, Research Group, Open Day Team, Education Group, Oral history Group and much more.
