St. Albans and Harpenden Friendship Scheme
82a High Street
St. Albans and Harpenden Friendship Scheme gives carers a breaks and enables adults with a learning disability to access the community through leisure and social activities.
The Friendship Scheme volunteers enable an adult with a learning disability to meet friends, make new friends and gain in confidence. The scheme gives people the opportunity to enjoy a pastime or leisure activity.
This gives carers a break, knowing that the person they care for is looked after and enjoying themselves.
