Objectives of the Organisation
Hertfordshire Practical Parenting Programme CIC is a not for profit organisation based in Waltham Cross and serving the whole of Hertfordshire. Our highly skilled and professional family support workers offer advice, support and information to families from a wide variety of backgrounds. Working with families in their homes to enhance and build on existing parenting skills we aim to increase knowledge empower parents to be confident in their own strengths and abilities.
We also offer support through parent groups and peer groups which take place across the St Albans District, these are arranged and overseen by the Inclusion Advocacy Service.
Listen to others – make tea/coffee – provide admin support - meet for the occasional coffee – telephone support – distribute flyers/posters – assist at support groups

We are looking for volunteers to support our organisation and projects with a variety of different tasks and roles, there is no set amount of time or number of days required – whatever you can offer is greatly appreciated. In return we will pay for your DBS check and cover expenses, invite you to join our training sessions and staff days where appropriate.
